This wiki was established in the winter semester of 2008/9. Since then, it has been part of the e-learning activities of various lecture courses in British Cultural Studies.

It aims at providing a guide to British history and culture, offering explanations of the key terms and concepts relevant to the epochs discussed in the lectures as well as biographies of the most prominent figures in politics and the arts.

All content is user-generated; in particular, participants of the lecture courses are welcome to make contributions.
