This wiki is part of the e-learning activities supplementing the Renaissance Culture lecture series given by Prof Pankratz at the English Seminar of Bochum University in 2008/9.
This wiki was established in the winter semester of 2008/9. Since then, it has been part of the e-learning activities of various lecture courses in British Cultural Studies.


It aims at providing a guide to the fascinating time of the English Renaissance, offering explanations of the key terms and concepts relevant to the epoch as well as biographies of its most prominent figures in politics and the arts.
