1968-1977. Sitcom about the British during the Second World War. Written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft. Centre of the sitcom is Captain Mainwaring (do not pronounce him in the obvious way, otherwise you will be arrested as German spy) and his fellow volunteers of the British Home Guard.
