Kate Middleton

Catherine Elisabeth "Kate" Middleton was born on January 9, 1982 in Reading/Berkshire. She is currently the girlfriend of Prince William, who she met at the University of St. Andrews. She is the daughter of Michael and Carol Middleton, who run "Party Pieces", a party catering for children. She has a sister, named Pippa, and a brother, named James. Thanks to the successful career of her parents, Kate had the opportunity to attend the best schools in England. She attended Malborough College, a public British boarding school in Malborough, Wiltshire. After school she did a voluntary year of social service in Chile. Afterwards she studied History of Art at St. Andrews, where she met Prince William. Kate has not really decided yet what she wants to do job-wise. For about a year she worked as an accessory-buyer at "Jigsaw". Then she decided to start a cereer as a photographer but soon cast away this idea as well. In the summer of 2008 she started helping out at her parent's office. She has often been criticised for not having a steady job by the public, especially the press. It is said that the Official Household has often advised her to do some charity work.
